The first pull to visit India was inspired by beloved Sri Ramana Maharshi, divine Indian sage. At his ashram, in the absence of his physical form, Essence spoke clearly, without words, pointing to the Love I had searched for in others most of my life. Upon returning to Vancouver, pure Consciousness appeared once again, this time in the form of beloved Eckhart Tolle, spiritual teacher and author of "The Power of Now," "Stillness Speaks" and "A New Earth."
Sri Ramana Maharshi
"The difficulty is that man thinks that he is the doer. But, it is a mistake. It is the Higher Power that does everything and he is the tool. If he accepts that position, he is free from troubles."
Eckhart Tolle
"Most people confuse the Now with what happens in the Now, but that's not what it is. The Now is deeper than what happens in it.  It is the space in which it happens."
"The  answer,  the strength,  the right action,  or the resource   will  be  there  when  you  need  it,   not  before, nor  after."

"Life is now. There was never a time when your life was not now. Nor will there ever be."
"It is enough that one surrenders oneself. Surrender is to give oneself up to the original cause of one's being. Your source is within yourself. Give yourself up to it. Seek the source and merge in it."
The gratitude for knowing these two awakened teachers is immense. It was through their guidance that Truth awakened. I clearly saw that attempting to control any situation through analyzing, explaining or blaming only serves to separate truth from the reality that who I am is the Totality of all things...that who I am is clear seeing. In the sacred Presence of each moment I am already free.

Truth speaks through the following words from Eckhart and Ramana. For more information, go to their websites at www.ramana-maharshi.org and www.eckharttolle.com.
"When the mind unceasingly investigates its own nature, It transpires that there is no such thing as mind. This is the direct path for all."
